About This Role:

This position provides administrative support to Legacy West Financial Consultants. This position is crucial to our member experience and requires a helpful, positive disposition. The incumbent assists with the practice’s daily operations, which include, but are not limited to, answering phones, meeting/greeting members, handling/distributing postal mail and practice email, ordering supplies, utilizing Thrivent Financial computer systems and programs to support client relations, and performing other administrative tasks as assigned. The Client Service Administrator works at Legacy West Financial Consultants.

This is a part-time position, requiring 20-30 hours a week. Compensation ranges from $25 to 28/hr, depending on experience and licensure. This employment can be entirely office-based or a hybrid.

Roles & Responsibilities For Part Time Client Support Associate job:

1. Performs routine administrative duties such as maintaining office supplies and processing mail
2. Handles incoming telephone calls and responds to requests for information
3. Prepares or coordinates the preparation of routine correspondence, reports, and special projects typically of a routine nature
4. Supports projects, administration of various programs, and processing functions as needed
5. Assist Financial Advisors in the preparation and follow up for the client/member meetings
6. Drive client/member facing activity in the practice by scheduling meetings with client/members on behalf of the practice’s Financial Advisors
7. Provides back-up support on tasks that do not require any type of licensing or registration for other staff members, as needed
8. Update the contact management system with client/member contact and preference information
9. Tracks practice expenses and oversees the practice bill paying
10. Participates in the business planning process
11. Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
1. Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or ability to learn
2. Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
3. Previous administrative/secretarial experience desired
4. Basic understanding of our products and services, and Thrivent Financial
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
